Common fiduciary roles in Canada include 'Executor / Executrix', (called 'Estate Trustee' in Ontario, and 'Liquidator' in Quebec), Powers of Attorney, Trustees, and Legal Guardians.
It all starts with education. By requesting Canadians acting in a fiduciary role enroll in the basic Personal Fiduciary Certificate program, we can ensure better protection for everyone.
